A: Will be operated by motor-vehicle, its size dictated by the number of participants, Nile Blue Excursions has been designed to accommodate individuals as well as groups. We arrange private programs upon request and we can guarantee the number of passengers who will be on any given tour. Q: what about the transfers?
A: Transfers are provided as indicated for each tour by car, minibus, or motor coach (a/c) the program will be operated as it is purchased from Nile Blue Excursions (overland program /including domestic flight) change in the transfer method is Available upon request and should be requested before the arrival date
Q: what about the hotel accommodations?
A: Will be provided in accordance with the itinerary or similar. We reserve the right to make substitutions with hotels of equal standard. There will be no refunds for any difference in the cost of those accommodations. All rooms are standard twin-bedded rooms with private facilities, unless you have specifically requested and paid for an upgraded room category.
Connecting rooms are subject to availability. On board the Nile cruises upper deck is upon request and considered up graded, Room selection in all cases, unless otherwise reserved, is strictly at the discretion of the hotel's management on a run-of-house basis. Triple rooms consist of standard twin beds plus a sofa/folding bed or cot for third person. The number of persons accommodated does not dictate the room size. Some hotels, for security purposes, do not allow visitors to guest rooms. All hotel rates are based on Nile Blue Excursions agreements with its suppliers and are not negotiable. Hotel check-in time is generally not before 1:p.m. and check-out time is prior to noon. Check-out will normally be 2:00 p.m.
Q :Is there a big difference between a 4* Nile cruise and a 5* Nile cruise like ?
A: The Nile Cruises offered by Nile Blue Excursions are on officially graded 5* or 5*deluxe nile cruises , the cruise include the services of a private guide (we do not rely upon the boat guides) throughout for all your touring, all excursions are included in the package? No hidden extras or paying locally to enter sites; and, you are treated like an individual? The personal touch!
Q: Do the hotels have tea and coffee facilities in the bedrooms?
A: Some do in the cities like Cairo or Aswan, Luxor, Alexandria. However, in the camps, they do not have this service in the room. We do not recommend to you bring a travel kettle and adaptor or a heating element. Because it is not allowed in the hotels or camps
Q: I have heard that some people suffer from a gippy tummy from time to time. Is it normal?
A: It is quite normal with the change in temperature, atmosphere, food and surroundings for some people to have the odd tummy problem for a day or so. It is a good idea to take your own medication for this just in case.
Q: Do I need to wear a jacket and tie in the dining rooms of the hotels?
A: In the Red sea resorts,, the dress code is very relaxed, so no tie or jacket is necessary. In the cities like Cairo, dress is more formal but again, no tie is necessary.
Q. Do I need to bring my own towels to sunbathe on by the swimming pool?
A: No. The hotel will provide these for you.
Q: We are booked on half board, what does that mean?
A: You are entitled to breakfast and dinner to be taken in the main dining room / restaurant of the hotel, all buffet style basis.
Q. Can I take my own drink into the hotel?
A: No. You should only consume drinks purchased at the hotel.
Q. Do I really need to drink lots of water even though there's a cool breeze?
A: Yes, when the weather is hot, you should drink minimum 3-5 liters of water per day. Bottled mineral water is recommended, not tap water.
Q: what about the meals in the tour?
A: As specified in each itinerary. Meals are based on the hotel's or restaurant's buffet or set menu. In general, beverages are not included, unless specifically stated. Upon request meals and beverages are generally not included. And can be added upon request to your program, many hotels offer meal plans generally, that is payable directly to the hotel at the time of checkout.
Q: can I take some food from the dining room during the breakfast & dinner to make myself a snake later?
A: No. It is not acceptable and not appreciated. When on buffet style meals, you can take as much as you want during your meal at that sitting. The hotel is entitled to charge you if you take food out of the restaurant as it is not paid for.
Q: Can I use my mobile phone in Egypt?
A: yes but? Check with your service provider before you depart for your holiday.
Q: what about children's discounts?
A: Discounts for children sharing a room as third apply to children under12 years old, Discounts for children due to the hotels and airlines companies' policies and you will be informed in the time of reservation about the children's discounts and policies
Q. I want to try some scuba (self contained underwater breathing apparatus) diving, but suffer from asthma. Is that ok?
A: No. in order to scuba dive, you must not suffer from any problems with: asthma, breathing difficulties, claustrophobia, heart, chest, ear, nose, eye, and throat. You must also not fly within 24 hours of diving.
Q: can I change any item in the programs?
A: All the programs items are changeable upon request. Safari programs are based on F/B in case of camping programs and B/B in case of hotels accommodation, any change in the program required must be in writing and sand to Nile Blue Excursions
Q: Can I use my camera/video camera in Egypt?
A: In the Egyptian Museum (Cairo), the Valleys of the Kings and Queens (Luxor), and certain other sites, cameras are permitted but flash photography is not allowed. You will have to pay a small charge to take your camera into many sites.
Q: Is tipping really necessary?
A: Yes, it is a way of life in Egypt especially and in the tourism filed in general all over the world and as wages are generally very low, It is expected for almost everything., in peace Egypt we have an organized policy, you will receive your tipping guide brochure when book to facilitate that item
Q: during the holy festival of Ramadan, will alcohol still be served in the hotels and will services be affected?
A: Alcohol will be served. Some services, excursions and entertainment may be limited. Please show consideration and respect at all times? It is a holy month.
Q: what is the gala dinner?
A: Gala Dinner - In some years, the hotels, arrange a very special Gala Dinner in the evening on Christmas's Eve on 24 December & New Year's Eve on 31 December. Payment for this is normally compulsory (whether you attend or not)
